FAO TO RELEASE REPORT ON ONTARIO SPENDING FOR THE FIRST THREE QUARTERS OF 2023-24
TORONTO, March 4, 2024 – On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release a report that provides an update on the Province’s 2023-24 spending plan and reviews unaudited spending by the government over the first three quarters of the 2023-24 fiscal year (April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023).
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org/en/ at 8:30 a.m.
The FAO will provide a background briefing for accredited media at 10:00 a.m. in the media studio at the Ontario Legislature. At the media briefing, senior officials from the FAO will provide a brief presentation and answer technical questions.
Following the briefing, Ontario’s Financial Accountability Officer, Jeffrey Novak, will make a statement and respond to media questions.
