FAO TO RELEASE FALL 2020 ECONOMIC AND BUDGET OUTLOOK UPDATE
TORONTO, October 14, 2020 – On Thursday, October 15, 2020, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release its Fall 2020 Economic and Budget Outlook. The report will provide an updated assessment of Ontario’s current economic outlook and the provincial government’s finances.
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org/en/ at 9:00 a.m.
The FAO will provide a background briefing for accredited media at 10:00 a.m. via web conference following the release of the report. Please contact Jessica Martin at 647.527.2385 or JMartin@fao-on.org for log-in and password information.
At the media briefing, senior officials from the FAO will provide a brief presentation and answer questions on a not-for-attribution basis.
Ontario’s Financial Accountability Officer, Peter Weltman, will be available for “on-the-record” media questions immediately following the background briefing.
