FAO TO RELEASE ECONOMIC AND BUDGET OUTLOOK
TORONTO, October 26, 2022 – On Thursday, October 27, 2022, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release a report that provides its projection of the Ontario government’s fiscal position to 2027-28, based on information available up to October 12, 2022.
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org/en/ at 9:00 a.m.
The FAO will provide a background briefing for accredited media at 10:00 a.m. in the media studio at the Ontario Legislature. At the media briefing, senior officials from the FAO will provide a brief presentation and answer questions on a not-for-attribution basis.
Ontario’s Financial Accountability Officer, Peter Weltman, will be available for “on-the-record” media questions immediately following the background briefing.
