FAO TO RELEASE SPRING 2020 ECONOMIC AND BUDGET OUTLOOK

TORONTO, May 8, 2020 – On Monday, May 11, 2020, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release its Spring 2020 Economic and Budget Outlook. The report will provide an assessment of Ontario’s current economic outlook and the provincial government’s finances.
The FAO will provide a background briefing for accredited media at 10:00 a.m. via web conference. Please contact Jessica Martin at (647) 527 2385 or JMartin@fao-on.org for log-in and password information.
At the media briefing, senior officials from the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will provide a brief presentation and review of the report, and answer questions on a not-for-attribution basis.
Financial Accountability Officer, Peter Weltman, will be available for “on-the-record” media questions immediately following the background briefing at 10:30 a.m.
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org/en at 09:00 a.m.
