FAO TO RELEASE ECONOMIC AND BUDGET OUTLOOK
TORONTO, June 12, 2023 – On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release a report that provides an updated projection of the government’s fiscal position over the 2022-23 to 2027-28 period.
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org/en/ at 9:00 a.m.
The FAO will provide a background briefing for accredited media at 10:00 a.m. in the media studio at the Ontario Legislature. At the media briefing, senior officials from the FAO will provide a brief presentation and answer technical questions.
Following the presentation, Ontario’s Acting Financial Accountability Officer, Jeffrey Novak, will make a statement and respond to media questions.
