UPCOMING FAO REPORT TO REVIEW THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON ONTARIO’S HEALTH SECTOR
TORONTO, April 27, 2020 – On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release its preliminary review on the impact of COVID-19 on Ontario’s health sector, with a focus on hospital capacity.
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org/en at 9:00 a.m.
The FAO will provide a technical briefing for accredited media at 10:00 a.m. via web conference. Please contact Jessica Martin at (647) 527 2385 or JMartin@fao-on.org for log-in and password information.
At the media technical briefing, senior officials from the FAO will provide a brief presentation and review of the report, and answer questions on a not-for-attribution basis.
Ontario’s Financial Accountability Officer, Peter Weltman, will be available for “on-the-record” media questions following the technical briefing.
