FAO TO RELEASE A REPORT ON ONTARIO’S HEALTH SECTOR SPENDING PLAN
TORONTO, March 7, 2023 – On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release a report that reviews the Province’s health sector spending plan and discusses the FAO’s health sector spending projection from 2022-23 to 2027-28, identifying key assumptions, issues and uncertainties.
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org/en/ at 9:00 a.m.
The FAO will provide a background briefing for accredited media at 10:00 a.m. in the media studio at the Ontario Legislature. At the media briefing, senior officials from the FAO will provide a brief presentation and answer questions on a not-for-attribution basis.
Ontario’s Financial Accountability Officer, Peter Weltman, will be available for “on-the-record” media questions immediately following the background briefing.
