Media Advisory: FAO to Release an Update on 2019-20 Spending by the Province

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY OFFICE TO RELEASE AN UPDATE ON
2019-20 SPENDING BY THE PROVINCE

On Wednesday, March 4th, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release a new report, Expenditure Monitor 2019-20: Q3.

This report will provide information on spending by the Province over the first nine months of

the 2019-20 fiscal year, including changes to the 2019 budget spending plan, actual spending results compared to planned spending and a revised budget deficit projection.

This report will be posted on the FAO website http://www.fao-on.org/en/ at 9:00 a.m. EST.

The FAO will provide a media briefing upon request. Ontario’s Financial Accountability Officer, Peter Weltman, will be available for “on-the-record” media questions following release of the report.
