UPCOMING FAO REPORT TO HIGHLIGHT OVERSIGHT, GROWTH, AND DISTRIBUTION
OF TAX EXPENDITURES IN ONTARIO
Media Briefing: 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., February 19, 2020

TORONTO, February 14, 2020 – On Wednesday, February 19, 2020, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release its report on the oversight, growth and distribution of tax expenditures in Ontario.
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org/en/ at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020.
There will be a briefing for *accredited media at 2:30 p.m. in Committee Room 228 at the Legislature. *Accreditation is available through Gerald Christopher, Room 149, main floor of the Legislative Building [beside the Media Studio], by calling 416-325-7922, or via email at gchristopher@ola.org.
At the media briefing, senior officials from the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will provide a brief presentation and review of the report, and answer questions on a not-for-attribution basis.
Ontario’s Financial Accountability Officer, Peter Weltman, will be available for “on-the-record” media questions following release of the report.
