FAO TO RELEASE REPORT ON ONTARIO’S SPENDING THROUGH THE FIRST HALF OF 2024-25
TORONTO, December 6, 2024 – On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release a report that provides an update on the Province’s 2024-25 spending plan and reviews unaudited spending by the government over the first two quarters of the 2024-25 fiscal year (April 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024).
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org at 8:30 a.m.
The FAO will provide a background briefing for accredited media at 10:30 a.m. in the media studio at the Legislature of Ontario. At the media briefing, senior officials from the FAO will provide a brief presentation and answer technical questions.
Following the briefing, Ontario’s Financial Accountability Officer, Jeffrey Novak, will be available to respond to media questions.
