FAO TO RELEASE A REPORT ON THE FINANCIAL IMPACT OF EXPANDING ONTARIO’S BEVERAGE ALCOHOL MARKETPLACE
TORONTO, January 24, 2025 – On Monday, January 27, 2025, the Financial Accountability Office of Ontario (FAO) will release a report that estimates the financial impact to the Province of the decision to expand Ontario’s beverage alcohol marketplace for beer, wine, cider and ready-to-drink alcohol beverages, including the cost to accelerate that expansion to begin in 2024.
The report will be posted on the FAO website www.fao-on.org at 8:30 a.m.
